What to Wear (for Her)

(Part 3 of 3) For your portrait session with us

What to wear for your photoshoot

Now that you have an idea of how to find clothing that flatters your body type, you may be wondering what to wear for your portrait session with us. Well, we are here to help you out with that so that you can feel as confident and beautiful as you are.

If you have booked a session with us, we send you a full style guide with more specific details including ways to coordinate outfits with your significant other or family. If you haven’t booked a session, but are interested, please fill out our contact form and we’ll get you scheduled!

Dresses are amazing!

Dresses and skirts look most stunning because they really flatter every female body, especially on camera. If your body type works with a flowy dress, it will bring extra movement to the photos.

Colors

Softer and lighter tones and more muted shades will bring attention to your faces instead of to your clothing.  We understand that some body shapes are more flattered with darker colors, so go ahead, but add in these softer and lighter tones.

Shoes

Heels elongate women’s legs, making them look fabulous. If you can rock the heels, then go for it, but bring a pair of flats or flip flops to wear when moving from place to place in between photos. Your feet will thank you later!

These are just a few of our tips to help you put together the perfect outfit for your photo shoot. We hope this series has served you well. Next up will be ideas for men and children.

We can’t wait to see you and capture fun images of you. The best thing you can bring is your smile and confidence!! And remember, that you are beautiful just as you are!
