Say yes to dressy casual

Long, fitted pants and close-toed shoes are the most sophisticated and masculine looks for men. They draw attention away from his legs and feet and place it on his handsome face. Avoid t-shirts, logos, and graphics.

Colors

If you have a significant other in the photo shoot with you, coordinate with her outfit. But, typically, solid shades of gray or navy complement most women’s outfits. Avoid patterns as it is distracting especially if her outfit is not solid colored.

Coat, blazer, or sports jacket

Mix it up with one of these jackets. You’ll look amazing! Layers on men look amazing on camera! We know that if this is a summertime shoot, it will be warm, but you can take it off between shots to cool down! V-neck sweaters are also a great way to go if it suits your body shape.

Shoes

Brown leather dress shoes compliment almost every look. Brown leather cowboy boots with a leather sole are also a great look in Texas!

These are just a few of our tips to help you put together the perfect outfit for your photo shoot. For more ideas, you can look through our Pinterest boards. We hope this series has served you well. Next up will be ideas for men and children.

We can’t wait to see you and capture fun images of you. The best thing you can bring is your smile and confidence!! And remember, that you are handsome just as you are!
